2015 Workshop/Art Tour
May 19 - June 6, 2015 - 18 days
Greece - Athens, Amorgos And Paros Island
Departure from the U.S. May 19, arriving Athens May 20. We will be staying in Athens until May 22. Our Hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of Plaka, the oldest inhabited village in Europe, filled with outdoor cafes and fascinating shops.
While in Athens, we have the opportunity to visit the incredible new Acropolis Museum and/or take an optional tour of the Acropolos.
AMORGOS ISLAND, KATAPOLA
We travel on first-class ferry to our favorite Greek Island. Our lovely Villa is located on a secluded path, steps away from tavernas serving delicious traditional meals on the waterfront. We may visit an 11th century monastery, clinging dramatically to cliffs above the Aegean Sea.
A 4 Day Painting workshop is included during our stay in Katapola. The workshop is described on the following page.
MAY 28-JUNE 1
AMORGOS ISLAND, AEGAILI
Our charming bed and breakfast pensione is family-run and maintains the ancient form of island hospitality - we are part of the family! Our balconies face the sea and short walks take us to exciting painting and photography sites. In Aegali we will absorb the authentic island culture. Unfortunately, few islands can still offer this wonderful experience
Our inter-island ferry takes us to the picturesque village, Parikia.
Our charming Hotel is in the center of the village surrounded by lovely shops and excellent seafood tavernas. We will explore the picture-perfect fishing village of Naussa. Paros is a remarkable Cycladic Island with stunning boutiques, quaint cafes, whitewashed homes and narrow walkways that weave in and out like the patterns of a Greek dance!
Back to Athens with Departure for the U.S. on June 6
